A gateway to solar irradiance and meteorological data, analytical models, modelling workflows, and operational protocols.
LuData is a unified, API-first platform that provides access to solar irradiance and meteorological data, analytical models, modelling workflows, and operational protocols used in solar and environmental analysis.
It brings together the development, execution, and automation of workflows for applications such as energy yield assessment, site specific analysis, data quality control, and other advanced modelling and data processing tasks.
All LuData services are accessed through the LuData API Manager, which provides centralised access to datasets, models, and workflows, together with technical documentation, usage monitoring, and account level dashboards.
In addition to solar energy applications, LuData supports use cases in climate analysis, agriculture, and environmental modelling by facilitating the integration of irradiance and meteorological data into digital workflows.
LuData provides a secure way to publish, license, and monetize datasets, analytical models, and protocols without exposing your code.
Providers control access with versioned endpoints, usage quotas, and clear contracts, while users consume services through UI or API.
Lucisun datasets & models :
The first of many services available on our growing platform.
Under 7 seconds per year of request (for multiple variables)
Select output timezone (UTC or local) with timestamp convention (instantaneous, left or right-labelled)
Supports solar setups (single- and dual-axis) as well as meteorological and climate applications
From 15-min to yearly
CSV, JSON, and custom formats on request
Consumption
Usage is billed per request.
1 request = 1 variable × 1 year of data.
PV, CSP, CPV, trackers
Data processing built on at least ten years, and up to several decades, of historical records derived from Service I.
1 request = 1 variable × 1 year of data.
Credits remain valid until consumed. A single TMY generation typically combines more than ten years of historical data across multiple variables, with credit usage scaling according to the data volume processed.
We provide flexible credit packages to support small scale projects as well as projects of greater scope typically managed by larger organisations, allowing budgets to be planned in advance.
Full 360° azimuth, elevation, and distance information
Powered by Copernicus GLO-30 DEM, internally hosted for speed and reliability, providing seamless 30 m resolution (adaptive to 90 m where needed)
Single-point or gridded outputs.
Directly accessible through LuData’s API and UI for rapid generation of terrain and horizon datasets at any site worldwide
1 credit per point; 1–4 credits for Area/Horizon depending on grid precision.
We can replicate LuData’s infrastructure to create a dedicated API manager and UI fully branded and hosted for your organization Keeping your data, models, and users within a secure private environment
